Appleton Asset Management (AAM) focuses on acquiring off market undervalued residential and commercial properties with unlocked potential and opportunities gained where other property development companies might fail to see value. AAM then capitalises on those opportunities through innovation, creativity, knowledge and experience in the residential property market in order to profit, either long term from ongoing rental income or short term from profit rolled up at point the of sale or refinance.
Working with investors allows us to acquire property at a much faster rate than we might be able to on our own whilst providing investors with significant reliable returns on their capital, thus building wealth for our investors and why many of our investors re invest once their capital has been repaid plus interest.
Our Business at a glance:
- We buy properties which we can add significant value too with Equity Partners and Joint Venture Partners.
- We maximise their value through refurbishment and/or development and other marginal gains.
- We either then refinance with a commercial Bank and retain and rent out

Unlike most companies offering property investments, we physically buy and have ownership of each property meaning we have skin in ALL of our Investments.
We only specialise, and have done for four years, in one niche area of property investment allowing us to have superior knowledge of this segment, unlike many investment companies flogging every type of property to investors.
We contain our investments to the West Midlands only, allowing us more in-depth knowledge of the residential property investment market.

Hugh has a background in both property and running companies. Hugh is an ex-army officer serving in 1st Queens Dragoon Guards, a trained chartered surveyor and has had over 30 years in the property industry as well as owning a portfolio of single lets and HMOs in Telford and Hereford. Hugh has spent the majority of his surveying career being responsible for the development of large residential and commercial estates gaining a vast understanding of construction and development projects.
Hugh has also set up and continues to run three other companies alongside Appleton Asset Management which are going from strength to strength. Hugh has also completed an MBA course.
Outside of Appleton Asset Management, Hugh is a keen sportsman, enjoying rugby, hockey and squash. He enjoys walking and countryside pursuits, as well as travelling, trying new wines and collecting antique furniture.
Miles studied Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes and is responsible for site acquisition and fund raising from investors.
Miles is a full-time property investor, developer and entrepreneur focusing on expanding Appleton Asset Management as well as growing our innovative letting agency, Relocation PA.
Miles is a keen shot and fisherman. When not in the office you’ll find him in the countryside. Miles is a regular rower and squash player and enjoys travelling, wine and reading.
Alex oversees the finances for the whole of Appleton Asset Management and is responsible for dealing with anything money!
Alex has previously consulted for a local accountancy firm in their payroll and bookkeeping department and is an experienced bookkeeper. She is also an experienced property investor with a large portfolio of her own.
Alex enjoys running, cooking, walking the dogs and getting away on holiday when she can.
Inca is our newest member and has made quite an impact on the business. She is an expert in relationship building and negotiating treats. Her demolishing abilities are second-to-none, which comes in very handy when clearing out new properties to renovate. Inca enjoys long walks, chasing the chickens and lots of attention.
